Google users will see Google Plus Posts while they Search Google shortly.
While some may disagree ,this change in approach by Google is overdue.
A blog is not long lasting excepting in cases where the subject is of permanent value like Health,Science and other subjects where the change or update is minimal,whereas a blog on News,personal notes may not be updated as much.
Hence updates are essential to keep the people better informed.
No doubt this might make some bloggers to change their style of writing, more importantly,to update to keep the readers abreast of the developments.
One of the criteria for getting more hits to a Blog ,apart from quality content, is regular up gradation

“Google’s climb to search engine prominence over the years has been subtly dotted with algorithm adjustments in order to stay current. In November, Google supplemented last year’s caffeine indexing system with the freshness update, making an algorithm that favors content that is both recent and relevant.
“Different searches have different freshness needs,” says software engineer Amit Singhal on Google’s official blog. “This algorithmic improvement is designed to better understand how to differentiate between these kinds of searches and the level of freshness you need, and make sure you get the most up to the minute answers.”
Although the freshness update is estimated to impact 35 percent of searches (at least one result on the page), it will only be noticeable to the average user among 6 – 10 percent of searches. In other words, the update is more effective than will be noticed.

Google announced on Friday that Google+ users will soon begin to see Google+ posts in their Google Search results.
This feature is activated only when you’re signed in to your Google Account, according Product Manager Sagar Kamdar, who posted the announcement on the Google Search Blog.
When you’re searching Google for, say, a restaurant, you might see that some results include content shared publicly by members of your Google+ Circles.
Kamdar detailed the new tool thus:
Let’s say I’m logged into my Google Account, and I search on Google for [uncle zhou queens]. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this restaurant, and we’re visiting NYC soon, so we want to figure out all the best eats in town. I also happen to have Andrew Hyatt in one of my Google+ circles. Oh, and it turns out he just made a public post on his Google+ account about Uncle Zhou in Queens […] Now not only do I get some great reviews on the web, I get a review from a friend about a restaurant with recommendations about what dishes to order.”
