One has to place his index finger and chant “Qamar Ali Darveeeesh!”, the stone goes up.
The Levitating stone of Shivpur.
How to reach.
Railway Station/Bus station. Pune,
Shivpur is 23 Km from Pune, 150 kM from Mumbai.
The story goes that Qamar Ali was born into a family of middle-class Moslems whose men-folk prided themselves on their muscular prowess. Qamar Ali, unlike his aggressive older brothers, was introspective and gentle. When he was scarcely six, he became a disciple of a Sufi Pir (great teacher) who lived nearby, and spent his days in meditation and fasting. Before long, throngs of devotees began to flock to his doorstep drawn by the young Sufi mystic’s compassion and miraculous powers of healing.
Qamar Ali died in his late teens but as he lay on his deathbed, he requested that a circular stone weighing 200 pounds, be placed near his tomb. According to the legend, he said: “If eleven men place their right index fingers under the stone and then jointly call my name, I will cause it to rise higher than their heads. Otherwise, neither singly nor together will they be able to move it more than two feet off the ground. Let it be a symbol,” he said to his brothers, “a reminder of my message that spiritual power is greater than brute strength. As Allah the Merciful, has loved you, so should you love all men of every caste and creed. For we are all brothers on the same journey. Think of this when you call my name and raise the stone.”
The authorities all over the world are in constant Denial Mode when confronted with anything connected with UFO.
There is enough evidence to at least institute a Study on the UFOs.
Please check under astrophysics, interesting and Funny, Videos for more information on UFO, Aliens.
There are cave paintings all over the world depicting Astronauts like figures with hoods, figures resembling Flying Saucers.
One such is found in Chattisgarh and nother in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu.

There is Samaipata, Bolivia, where at 6500 feet above sea level, is rock marked with aligned lines, possibly a landing site for UFOs.
This is what Erich Von Daniken proposed in the 60’s.
I am curious about the name.

Archaeology of the site has revealed that several phases of occupation were present at Samaipata. Before the Spanish were the Inca, and beneath the foundations of the Inca works evidence of previous cultural works was found, proving that the site was in use a long time before the might Inca. (5) So who were the people that originally carved the hill..? The site is now generally considered to be a pre-Incan site, built by the Chané people, a pre-Inca culture of Arawak origin, (3) who migrated from Guyana approximately 2,500 years ago. (6) It is suggested that the first engravings at El Fuerte were undertaken during the Mojocoyas period (AD 200 – 800)(7).Unfortunately, the exact chronology of the site is yet to be determined for the period between the Chané and the Inca, but the evidence suggests that there is more than one building phase at Samaipata.
The site was later occupied by the Inca who used it as their most advanced post of the Empire, of which it marked the frontier from the late 15th century until its fall in 1530. It was the administrative centre in charge of maintaining the order of the Inca in the region, but its principal function was keeping at bay the frequent invasion attempts of the Guarani Indians. (1) They gave it the name of “Samaipata”, which is Quechua (language of the Inca’s) and stands for ‘The Height to Rest’ or ‘Rest in the heights’, and they added several classic Inca-style masonry constructions to the complex. Around 1540 the Spanish arrived and encountered an Inca fortress. They renamed the site “El Fuerte” or “The Fortress”, and deserted the site around 1629 when they founded the settlement known today as Samaipata a few Km away
The two parallel lines are oriented to the eastern sky at a position of azimuth 71° and an altitude of about 6.75° .
‘The orientation of the carved trail is the direction of the rise of the Pleiades at about 1AD. An observer at the top of the hill could see the rising of the Pleiades at around 500AD, and also the rising of Regulus in 600AD. The alignment of the 8 pits points to the rise of the Pleiades at 500BC and of Aldebaran at 500AD. The long rectilinear engraving near the seats complex to the East matches the rise of the Pleiades at about 500BC.
If we consider that the Pleiades cluster (‘Collca’ in the quechua or ‘Qutu’ in the aymara languages) was important in the Andean world as a celestial signal for sowing (mainly maise) or for the prediction of yields, then it is possible to think that the alignments found at Samaipata were devised for the observation of this star cluster. Accordingly, the monument should have been built between 1AD and 500 or 600AD. Perhaps the eight pits were used first and the ‘cascabel’ later on, as a more recent construction. Of course only the archaeological research may work out a precise dating for the monument. (2)

Room temperatures vary and Lasers detect strange shadows!
It is the KuldharaVillage in Rajasthan.
Recently, Paranormal Society of Delhi acknowledged that there is something strange about these scary places.
The society was studying one of these locations in Jaisalmer’s Kuldhara village. Kuldhara village is a haunted location and it is believed that it is impossible to spend an entire night in the village. The society decided to unravel the mystery behind the village of Kuldhara’s spirit.
Delhi’s Paranormal Society of Delhi reached Kuldhara under the leadership of Gaurav Tiwari on Saturday.
A brave team of 18 members decided to spend an entire night inside the village along with 10-12 other people.
The team spent 12 long horrifying hours inside the village and experienced some strange activities.
The team equipped with their high-tech electronic equipments scanned the entire village and encountered really strange activities. From moving shadows, haunting voices to hand imprints of children on cars; the team members lived through one of their scariest nights.
One of the members revealed that he felt someone touching his shoulder from behind. When he turned back to see who it was, he found no one.
The team used a highly sophisticated equipment to communicate with ghosts and spirits. The equipment, named ‘Ghost Box’, was used to ask questions from the spirits. The spirits responded and even told their names.
The team had a K-2 metre device which is used to measure change in surroundings temperature. The device recorded a temperature of 41 Degree Celsius at one location and as it was moved a few steps ahead, the temperature instantly dropped to 31 Degree Celsius.
The team used LASER rays and found unexplained moving shadows.
I was checking up the Reddit, where I found a news story on the forgotten websites.
I found an interesting website , which states that,
“In the early 1970’s, two individuals (my task partner and myself) from the Evolutionary Level Above Human (the Kingdom of Heaven) incarnated into (moved into and took over) two human bodies that were in their forties. I moved into a male body, and my partner, who is an Older Member in the Level Above Human, took a female body. (We called these bodies “vehicles,” for they simply served as physical vehicular tools for us to wear while on a task among humans. They had been tagged and set aside for our use since their birth.)”
We brought to Earth with us a crew of students whom we had worked with (nurtured) on Earth in previous missions. They were in varying stages of metamorphic transition from membership in the human kingdom to membership in the physical Evolutionary Level Above Human (what your history refers to as the Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven).
3.It seems that we arrived in Earth’s atmosphere between Earth’s 1940’s and early 1990’s. We suspect that many of us arrived in staged spacecraft (UFO) crashes and many of our discarded bodies (genderless, not belonging to the human species), were retrieved by human authorities (government and military).”
I do not know what to make of it.
One can simply brush it aside saying that it is non sense.
Art the same time there is considerable information on UFO, as there are FBI declassified files on this subject.
I have posted some under Astrophysics.
7 November 1957
The print marked “A” is an enlarged photograph of the original 16mm movie strip on which Mr. Mayher took the photos in 1952. The size of the UFO may be gauged in relation to the perforations on the film which are of known standard size. The large print marked “B” is an outsized enlargement made from a stepped up negative of one of the original frames.
It may be of interest to know how the enclosed prints were processed. Pictures were originally snapped on 16 mm movie film from which a number of prints were made. Four by 5 negatives were processed from these prints, then 8 by 10 negatives were processed from the latter. The three 8 by 10 prints are contact prints of the 8 by 10 negatives.”
A Crypt with Mummified bodies, surrounded by magical Codes, inscriptions were found in Sudan near Khartoum.
One of the mummies is identified as that of an Archbishop.
“A mysterious 900-year-old crypt covered floor to ceiling in ‘magical’ inscriptions has been uncovered in Sudan.
The crypt, which was found containing seven naturally mummified bodies, was excavated in a monastery at Old Dongola – the capital of a lost medieval kingdom that flourished in the Nile Valley.
One of the mummies is thought to be that of Archbishop Georgios, an extremely powerful religious leader in the ancient Makuria kingdom.
The inscriptions on the walls of the crypt were written with black ink on a layer of whitewash and have been identified as Greek and Sahidic Coptic.
Researchers believe the inscriptions served as protection for the deceased against evil powers.
They were ‘intended to safeguard not only the tomb, but primarily those who were buried inside of it during the dangerous liminal period between the moment of dying and their appearance before the throne of God,’ wrote Adam Lajtar of the University of Warsaw, in the journal Polish Archaeology in the Mediterranean.
According to the researchers, Archbishop Georgios’ epitaph was found nearby, stating that he died in A.D. 1113 at the age of 82. They believe one of the mummified bodies within the crypt is of the religious leader.
The other mummies within the crypt were of men all over 40 years of age, said anthropologist Robert Mahler.
They were all dressed very simply in linen clothing and the crypt was likely sealed after the last of the burials took place.
The archaeological site of Old Dongola in what is today Sudan has a rich history. Originally built as a fortress in the fifth century, Dongola grew into a prosperous town thanks to its Nile-side location and, after its conversion to Christianity by the end of the sixth century, became the capital of the Coptic Christian kingdom of Makuria. In the seventh century, Makuria was able to defeat the forces of the Rashidun Caliphate after its successful invasion of Egypt. The ensuing peace treaty established trade relationships between Muslim Egypt and Christian Nubia that lasted for 600 years, a long period of stability that allowed the Kingdom of Makuria to flourish. The kingdom’s power began to wane in the 12th century and it was finally defeated by the Sultan of Egypt in the 14th century.
In 1993, the Polish Archaeological Mission (PAM) discovered three burial crypts in the northwest annex of a monastery in Old Dongola. Archaeologists believe they were part of a commemorative complex built either at the direction of or for the burial of Archbishop Georgios, Dongola’s primary cleric who was appointed directly by the Coptic Patriarch of Alexandria rather than via a national church hierarchy. According to a funerary stele found in the annex near the crypts, the archbishop died in 1113 A.D. when he was 82 years old.
Inside each chamber were several natural mummies, some wrapped in textiles, and the walls of the southernmost crypt were covered with inscriptions written in Greek and Sahidic Coptic. The crypts were photographed and then resealed to preserve the contents until a more thorough excavation could be done. That finally happened in 2009.
They found that the southern crypt (crypt 1) held seven mummies, one of which is thought to be the body of Archbishop Georgios. Archaeologists were not able to single out which of the bodies, if any, was the Archbishop’s. They are all adult males older than 40 and, judging from the extensive evidence of chronic and degenerative illnesses, probably older than that at the time of death. The bodies were dressed fairly modestly, mainly in linen garments, wrapped in shrouds and then interred in the crypt over a course of years. Four pectoral crosses were found in the crypt as well, two of them wood, one of them stone, one of them glass.
The inscriptions on the walls of crypt 1 provide a particularly fascinating glimpse into Makuria’s unique religious culture. Painted in black ink over a thin layer of whitewash, they cover the four walls of the barrel chamber almost entirely. They are in very good condition, except for areas where the walls themselves were damaged. The writing was all done by the same person, one Ioannes, who did us the favor of signing his name at the end of the inscriptions on the north, east and south walls. He probably signed the west wall too, but it was lost due to damage.
Ioannes was better at Coptic than he was at Greek. There are copious errors in the Greek, some of which he covered with whitewash and redid, like Medieval white-out, which suggests he may have been trying to copy a text, which suggests he had access to a library, either in the monastery or perhaps the private library of the archbishop. It’s a reversal of what you might expect, since Greek was still going great guns in the Eastern Church while Sahidic Coptic was already a dying language by the end of the 11th century.
The inscriptions begin on the west wall with an invocation of the Holy Trinity. Underneath that the writings are defined as a phylakterion malakias, a phylactery or amulet against weakness. A series of magical symbols in a frame follow, and beneath them are two lists, one of numerical cryptograms representing the names of god and angels, the other of magical divine names. Quotations from the gospels and prayers in Greek are next. One of the prayers, said to by the Virgin Mary, is well-known in a languages from Coptic to Arabic, but this is the first time it’s ever been found in Greek. Since Greek was probably its original language, it’s a highly significant find. The prayer ends abruptly with the invocation of a magical ritual meant to chase evil spirits from the tomb.
The inscription on the east wall quotes from the Gospel of Luke in Greek then moves on to a Coptic piece on the death of the Virgin Mary. It includes the prayer she spoke before she died and describes her final scene. This is an excerpt from a popular fourth century Coptic work by Saint Cyril of Jerusalem, but unlike every other extant version of the text known, the crypt inscription has a curious line: after Mary finishes praying, death appears to her “in the form of a rooster.”
