UFO

UFO Fleet California.

News states: According to eyewitness testimonial, “On December 8, 2012 my wife and I were about to head home parked in Valencia, when she noticed these lights in formation above the San Francisco Mission District.

I wasn’t sure if at first if it was another Tequila hazed mirage, but myself and a few bi-standards where all in complete awe at the lights we saw on Valencia. Please excuse my drunken reaction.

This was the first time I ever saw something like this. There’s also a yellow speck which is from my iPhone lens but it’s clear which lights I’m referring to. At first glance, I thought it might be fireworks but when they started to form a triangular formation, I knew this was uncommon.”

A lot of people will say these are Chinese lanterns. With me living in Taiwan I see them all the time. They don’t look like this! These UFOs are round like an orb, lanterns however are oblong in shape. Lanterns are not a mexican custom…but usually found in Asian areas. At 1:54 into video, note its round shape, writes Scott C. Microsoft Windows Phone 8 Preview.

San Francisco: Microsoft Corp. is planning to issue a dramatic update to its phone software, one that won’t be available to current Windows Phones.

The new software, Windows Phone 8, will be available on new phones this fall, Microsoft said Wednesday at a presentation in San Francisco. The software will bring Windows phones closer to PCs and tablets running the company’s upcoming Windows 8, which is also scheduled to launch later this year.

With its planned software updates — and the Surface tablet computer it introduced earlier this week — Microsoft is taking dramatic steps to ensure that it plays a major role in the increasingly important mobile market.

Microsoft introduces Windows 8

Microsoft Windows Phone 8

Microsoft launched Windows Phone 7 in 2010, making a clean break with its previous phone software, which had become outdated. Nokia Corp., until recently the world’s biggest maker of phones, has pledged to use it for all its smartphones, and launched its first Windows Phone in the US earlier this year.

US wireless carriers support Windows Phone, seeing it as a valuable counterweight to the clout of Apple Inc.’s iPhone and phones running Google Inc.‘s Android software.

Windows Phone is making progress in one respect. Hit games “Words With Friends” and “Draw Something” will be among the apps available for Windows 8. There are 100,000 applications available for Windows phones today, Microsoft said.

Windows Phone 8 will accept expansion memory cards, like Android phones do. It will also work on processors with more than one computing “core,” which are common in high-end smartphones. More cores boost computing power and can cut power consumption.

The new software will also work with near-field communications chips, allowing phones to be used in place of credit cards at some payment terminals. At the conference, Microsoft’s head of phone software, Joe Belfiore, demonstrated how NFC can be used to link two phones so their owners can play a Scrabble-like game. Tapping the phones together can engage NFC, and prompt the devices to establish a link over Wi-Fi.

Some recent Android phones come with NFC capabilities, but they’re missing from the iPhone.

Windows Phone 8 will share the operating system “kernel,” or most basic functions, with Windows 8 RT, which will run on tablets and computers. That means manufacturers will have an easier time making hardware that can use either system. Developers will have an easier time moving applications from one platform to the other, Microsoft said.

Changing its phone software at such a basic level means that it will be difficult to install on existing Windows phones.

Only Three escaped from Alcatraz.

Frank Lee Morris, Clarence Anglin and John Anglin ,Escapees from Alcatraz.

A thriller.

The film,The Great Escape starring Clint Eastwood was also good.

The escape is as good as Papillon‘s, though the latte one is moe appealing and he escape was confirmed and the escapee wrote the Book.

‘The prison mug shots of convicts Frank Lee Morris, Clarence Anglin and John Anglin in both their younger and older years. Morris and brothers Clarence and John Anglin, all serving time for bank robbery, vanished from the prison in San Francisco Bay on the night of June 11, 1962. Although many historians think it’s likely they perished in the frigid treacherous currents surrounding the maximum-security island prison, their bodies were never found and some believe it’s possible they made it to freedom.

Shop Bans Customer for Buying More-Video.Stupid Pricing.

If you buy less you don’t get a good price; more, you can not buy!

If the shop suspected resale, they need to look at their pricing, for a Group of people buying less than the amount that can be suspected can buy and resell.

ABC7 News in San Francisco reported on a local woman named Kim Navarra who spends at least $1,000 a year at Abercrombie & Fitch, ordering everything from tees and sweatshirts and jeans online. But this summer when she tried to spend a $200 giftcard on the retailer’s website, her order was unceremoniously cancelled.

Abercrombie & Fitch sent her a letter simply saying, “This order was cancelled and we will not accept future orders from you. Abercrombie & Fitch is a private label brand. To protect its intellectual property rights, suspected resale of our merchandise for personal or business profit is strictly prohibited,” a paragraph cut and pasted straight from their website.

But it looks like the company was just bullying an innocent and very loyal customer. “All their clothes seem to fit and last over the years,” Navarra told ABC7. “I’m not reselling them. As you can see, I have the clothes on, I wear them to work, I’ve worn every single pair of jeans.”
