This Creature was reportedly caught in the Raritan River,New Jersey

It is assumed that it is a large Sea Lamprey.

Sea Lamprey.

The sea lamprey (Petromyzon marinus) is a parasitic lamprey found on the Atlantic coasts of Europe and North America, in the western Mediterranean Sea, and in the Great Lakes. It is brown, gray, or black on its back and white or gray on the underside and can grow up to 90 cm (35.5 in) long. Sea lampreys prey on a wide variety of fish. The lamprey uses its suction cup-like mouth to attach itself to the skin of a fish and rasps away tissue with its sharp, probing tongue and keratinized teeth. Secretions in the lamprey’s mouth prevent the victim’s blood from clotting. Victims typically die from excessive blood loss or infection.(Wiki)

I do not think the creature resembles Sea Lamprey.

What is it?

Getting a vibrator stuck in his bum wasn’t enough to send this man to the ER. He simply attempted to remove the stuck object by using a pair of salad tongs. Trouble is, then the tongs got stuck, too

A lawyer (what is it with lawyers?) from Georgia was reportedly showering with his cell phone, when he slipped and fell, getting the phone lodged firmly up his backside. During the surgery to remove the phone, the device rang three more times.Ringing Cell Phone in the Anus.

Charity Dogs Console Bereaved Connecticut Shooting

In animal behavior on December 18, 2012 at 18:47

Trained Dogs bring cheers to the gloom struck families of Newtown, Connecticut who are yet to come to terms with the loss of children in the Connecticut shooting.

Love knows no bounds especially if it is not vocalized.

‘Seeing the dogs led to some of the town’s children smiling for the first time since Friday’s murderous rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School, said Tim Hetzner of the Lutheran Church Charities

The dogs, mostly golden retrievers, “bring some relief” to children, and put “a smile on their face, kind of like a teddy bear, but a live one,” Hetzner told ABC News.

Hetzner, who has taken dogs to New York and New Jersey after superstorm Sandy hit in October and to Joplin, Mo., following a devastating  tornado, said the animals are “like a counselor” meting out  ”trusting unconditional love.”

Hetzner says his organization begins training dogs as puppies when they are about five and half weeks old. It takes a year to train the dogs, making them calm enough to work with the public in post-disaster situations.

Some of the dogs were stationed outside an interfaith memorial service on Sunday night, at which President Obama spoke, eulogizing the 20 children and seven adults killed in a massacre executed by Adam Lanza, 20 last Friday.

‘Your Facebook Profile after Your Death’ Video

In Interesting and funny, internet on December 9, 2012 at 08:43

For those who remain Immortal or leave something of themselves to posterity!

Me, I will be leaving behind only my children!

Facebook.

Facebook profile.

‘Nobody knows exactly when the 39-year-old, who went by the online moniker “Dare Dellcan,” took his life. Nobody knows why the normally cheery creative director and design company owner did it. And for the first couple of days, few people besides the police officers who found his body on July 16 knew he was dead.

The day after the discovery, a message appeared on Dowdell’s Facebook wall.

“I am a friend of Anthony’s. I wish I could call you all to inform you personally and this is probably a crappy way to find this out but our dear friend Anthony aka Ant aka Dare Dellcan has passed away. It is confirmed. I live around the corner and I have spoken with authorities this evening … I am only sharing this because if I was Anthony’s friend, I would want to know too. And I know that Anthony had friends all over the place.”

Dowdell had 692 friends on the social network. They were in New Jersey, where he lived, New York City, where he was raised, and spread from Los Angeles to Miami. A few were in Brazil and Italy. As with most people on Facebook, they were former girlfriends and dates-turned-friends, high school and college classmates, co-workers. Many hadn’t seen him in years. Most didn’t know each other.

The message on Facebook, linked to a newspaper article about an unnamed manfound dead in a truck in the store’s parking lot, is how nearly all learned of Dowdell’s death.

Woman Fakes Cancer, Gets A Wedding!

What an effrontery!

Another scam through Facebook!

If you want to help others, be sure you meet the person and verify.

Cancer Scamster Stilley

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a New Jersey woman scammed relatives and others out of cash, meals and even a wedding by falsely claiming she had bladder cancer.

The Burlington County prosecutor has charged 40-year-old Lori Stilley of Delran with theft by deception.

Officials say in February 2011, Stilley told those close to her and posted on Facebook that she had been diagnosed with cancer. In April, she said her condition had worsened.

Authorities say supporters raised more than $10,000.

Supporters became suspicious in November 2011 when she posted that she was feeling better and believed a miracle was coming.

Her lawyer, Adam Malamut, tells the Burlington County Times that authorities have not presented him with any evidence that Stilley did anything wrong.

Stilley is free on $25,000 bail.
