While sane people have welcomed the sacking of Nithyananda from the Madurai Adheenam by Arunagiri the timing, the manner and the meek manner in which Nithyananda has accepted it raises doubts.
Consider the facts.
1.As per the Sampradaya(tradition) of The Madurai Adheenam, the incumbent who has been appointed must be served a minimum 15 Days Notice prior to his being removed.
Here we find that Arunanagiri of Madurai Adheenam giving a letter late at night to a Police Station in Madurai that Nithyananda was being removed as Madurai Adheenam with immediate effect.
2.There is a judgement by The Supreme Court to this effect.
If Nithyananda were to go Court challenging the order of Arunagiri he is sure to win the case.
Nithyananda who is notorious for fighting cases, including Rape, where the evidence appears to be strong, contested the Police.
In this case he had quipped ‘If Adheenam removes me it is sacking; if I sign it, it is resignation’
And he has brushed aside the Donation of Rs..Ten Crore to Madurai Adheenam and jewellries saying that he would consider it as a Donation to Goddess Meenakshi!
3.To top at all the Tamil Nadu Government does not seem to have received any information on the removal of Nithyananda frm the post from the Madurai Adheenam , as declared in the High Court ,Madras by the Public prosecutor

Reliable sources indicate that thethe other Adheenam like Tiruvavaduthurai,Dharmapuram and Tiruppanathal, though they have opposed the Madurai Adheenam on the appointment of Nithyannada are reported to be rallying behind Madurai Adheenam now for fear of being the Mutts being taken over by The government of Tamil Nadu.
Their apprehension id that this instance of taking over might trigger a general enquiry into the affairs of all these Mutts and they might also be taken over.( these Mutts are also not above board, at least in the management of assets of the Mutts)
Vidhai Virutcham , a normally reliable blog in Tamil, has posted that The Madurai Adheenam has lodged a Police Complaint at Madurai that his Life in the Adheenam ,Madurai is in danger from the disciples of Nithyananda.( report around 9pm)
He is also reported to have declared that he has decided to remove Nithyananda from the post of Madurai Adheenam effective 19/10/2012 to which he appointed Nithyananda.
As of writing this piece the news is yet to be confirmed.
Madurai Adheenam with Nithyananda,

At first Nithyananda denied that the Video of him and Ranjitha to be a fake and produced self certified proof that the video is morphed.
He declared in an affidavit that he was incapable of sexual act and was impotent.
Later in an interview to Outlook he stated that he was beyond sex.

Now the Court decided to call his bluff and ordered series of Medical tests for Nithyananda including Audio test and Erection test.
Nithyananda will declare that the test results are doctored!
Story:
Controversial godman Swami Nithyananda claims he is impotent. Not sure whether he is telling the truth or just trying to escape allegations of rape, the state’s investigative agency, CID, will subject him to medical tests.
The sleuths are taking no chances. They have written to the Victoria Hospital top brass to constitute a medical board to examine him. “We do not want one doctor testing him and later Nithyananda countering it. We are waiting for the hospital’s reply,” said a source.
Nod for audio test
The Ramanagaram court, before which Nithyananda was produced, granted the CID the go-ahead for conducting the medical test. It also gave the nod for a voice test to know if his voice matched with that in the audio samples submitted by Nithyananda’s detractors.
Sources said Nithyananda has submitted a medical report by a private doctor which claims he is impotent. Meanwhile, the CID has decided not to arrest Nithyananda for conducting these tests. Once the board is formed, they will send him a notice asking him to voluntarily appear for the tests. “If he fails, then the question of arresting him will arise,” sources said.
What are the tests a man has to go through to prove he’s impotent? Considering the sensitivity of the case, details pertaining to the panel of doctors who will be carrying out the tests on Nithyananda are kept highly confidential to check any attempts to influence them, sources said.
So, we asked a few doctors in the city, without mentioning that the person in question was Nithyananda, and here’s the light they threw on this rarely-discussed topic:
Normally, along with the blood samples, the bone marrow is also tested to assess the hormonal levels. But in Nithyananda’s case, it could go beyond this and several tests will be conducted over three-four days. These include: Blood test, supplemented with semen analysis, thyroid analysis and the use of erection-stimulating drugs.
Nithyananda will first undergo a physical examination which will tell doctors if his sexual organs have been operated on.
“Then, they will look at the possibility of erectile dysfunction. Then comes the semen analysis in which semen motility, semen count and semen appearances are tested. The sperm count and quality will throw light on whether the person is impotent. If he meets minimal standards in each of these tests, he will be considered potent,” Dr K Shastri, a city-based physician said.
An analysis of the thyroid – a major regulatory hormone – will also throw light on his infertility. According to Dr Priya Chinnappa, endocrinologist, “Low levels of T4 hormones result in a low sperm count.”
“Injecting erection-stimulating drugs is another important way to test if one is potent. An impotent person will never develop an erection even if he is injected with such drugs. However, this is not related to fertility. Men with a low sperm count will be able to get an erection with these drugs,” Dr C Ashwath, a physician, said.
Testosterone, FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), LH (luteinizing hormone) are some other tests to determine impotence.
The results of these tests will be produced in court and will determine the course of investigation into the case filed against him by one-time confidant Lenin Karuppan.
“If the tests do not prove his impotence, Nithyananda will be in trouble,” another source added.
The question marks that hung over Swami Nityananda, 34, head of the Bangalore-based meditation centre Dhyanapeetham, after a sleazy sex video surfaced two years ago, momentarily disappeared when he was named the 293rd pontiff of south India’s oldest Shaivite math, the Madurai Adheenam, in April. But old allegations are back to haunt the controversial godman again, following a spill-all TV interview by a former lady devotee, Arati Rao. Jailed for assaulting a journalist and released on bail, he spoke to Deepak Thimaya in Madurai.

Don’t you think you have let you devotees down and also put some of them in a defensive position?
I don’t think I have let down my devotees or put them in a defensive position. It is an attack on us. So the people who are attacking, are only trying to put me down and my devotees. I feel the devotees who have experienced the spiritual transformational benefits from me are very clear that it is an attack on us. It is persecution. So neither they feel I let them down nor I feel I feel I let them down. It is persecution of me and my devotees.
Some of your devotees who still continue to be your devotees feel that they have been put in an uncomfortable position, because they don’t know what the truth is.
If I know who exactly is the person who is saying this, I may be able to explain. It looks more hypothetical and generalized. I am unable to answer this question.
Some of your devotees may want to know it, because all may not want to accept you without questioning. Do you think you have caused discomfort to such devotees at least?
I don’t feel I caused any discomfort to them, anywhere. Because, all spiritual movements have been persecuted sometime and all such spiritual leaders have gone through such problems some time or the other. I taught my devotees to live in a complete personal spiritual experience instead of being bothered, tortured, being tarnished and being disturbed by some opinion which comes from here and there or from vague quarters without much understanding and without looking into the depths.
Don’t you think by saying this you are actually negating the kind of deluge that your organization is facing of public opinion? You as the guru, the all-knowing, may feel that it is a small and insignificant thing, to an ordinary person it may be a very overwhelming thing.
You called it a deluge — it means it is something that will settle down. So, you yourself said it. For me it may be happening in a corner, but for a person on the street, it is happening all over. But, don’t you understand and can’t you look at this angle that the person on the street does not care about this issue? The 2G scam was huge for some people while it was not so huge for some other
Are you referring to the huge reception A. Raja received in TN?
No, I am not getting into the details of that, but am only giving a general example of any deluge is personal experience.
What you say is, what is deluge for someone may not be a deluge for someone else.
Neither I feel it is a deluge nor the disciples who experienced me feel that it is a deluge.
You very specifically said that different spiritual movements have gone through persecution at different times. Agreed, but never persecution based on the spiritual leader’s personal conduct, personal character or personality itself. In most cases the persecution was related to the ideological differences.
No. I can give thousands of examples where the personality was attacked. See, if it is only ideology, it is very easy. Attack on ideology is always the beginning. But in course it is always the personality that is attacked. Ideology is nothing but the expansion and the extension of the personality. Whether the Buddha, means the master, or the Dhamma, his message, or the Sangha his organization — all these three are ultimately the expansion or the extension of the same source. So, I feel all attack was always on all three for all masters
Most devotees feel that as a Master you know more than your devotes or at least you are supposed to know more. Did you not that this was coming?
I can say in a way I know when the usual course of persecution comes.
Did you know when you were conducting all your programs in full steam, that something like this would actually come and cause distress?
I expected this kind of some persecution in some form. I had predicted it too.
When?
May be 2009.
To whom?
To a group of devotees in a public class.
But that was when things were already going wrong in your ashram and you have been getting the hint.
No, there was nothing wrong going on within or outside the ashram. Whether something was going wrong or right, that there some anti-spiritual elements that were waiting to attack.
From the statements of Ms. Arati Rao, one can specifically and clearly know that in 2009 she had heard other people talking about the things thing not being right in the ashram. If you predicted in 2009 that things could wrong, would that mean that by then you had got the wind of it, and knew that something had gone beyond your control?
Two things. First thing whatever (Arati Rao) says is a lie. I am not accepting even one word of what she said. That second thing is that what I said in 2009 was in a spiritual angle with a spiritual intuition. I was not said on the basis of what people were talking or some activity. It was based on intuition, understanding the energy flow and astrological calculations
Why would a woman like Arati Rao come up with these allegations?
You should ask her.
You know that Arati Rao and Nityananda Swamy are not the same and cannot be put on the same balance. Your statements will be weighed and analysed quite differently from hers. You will be treated differently because of your position in the society. Now, what would make her to openly say that she was abused?
Important note; Now Madurai Adheenam has become a branch of Bidadi!

4.’Aarthi Rao( the woman filed sexual assault case against Nithynanada) says I had sexual relations with her 50 times.She has a disease worse than AIDS.It is not necessary to have intercourse with her, by mere touch of her one would get severe infection.Check me, I have no infection’
I do not find a word of Aarthi Rao in her complaint(as reported) that Nithyananda raped her 50 times.
How come the Guru mentions the number of times?
If he does not know her how does he know she has severe infection worse than AIDS?
Juxtapose this statement with his earlier affidavit filed in the Court that he is a neuter and can not perform?
