I posted a breaking story last night that Nithyananda was removed as The Madurai Aadheenam by the present Senior Aadheenam Arunagiri who lodged a Police complaint at Madurai around 10 pm on 19/10/ 2012 that his Life was in danger at the Aadheenam from the Disciples of Nithyananda .
He also declared that he was removing Nithyananda as The Head of The Madurai Aadheenam effective 19/10/2012.

Now the Story behind this sordid episode has started coming in.
Apart from the Public pressure’ there were objections from the heads of the other Saiva Muttsl were
Dharmapuram, Thiruppanandal, Thiruvavaduthurai and Fifteen other heads of Saiva Mutts in Tamil Nadu had met Arunagiri ,the present Madurai Aadheenam and tried to prevail on him to remove Nithyananda.
Madurai Aadheenam did not and did seem to be under some pressure.
There is a PIL on this issue in Tamil Nadu.
The Tamil Nadu Government took a strong line against the anointment of Nithyananda ss th Mutt Head and stated categorically in the High Court Chennai that it would not allow Nithyananda, a man whose character is questionable and against whom criminal cases are pending .
“The development came a day after the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department moved a civil court in Madurai to remove the head of the Mutt.”
Arunagiri ,it seems had also received visitors earlier in the Day, who had the ears of the Tamil nadu Government, informed him that the Government meant Business and his nomination of Nithyananda will be questioned by The Government and in the event of the Court declaring the appointment of Nithyananda as ”null and void; the decision to appoint the next Aadheenam may be entrusted to The Dharmapuram Adheenam or to a Conclave of the Mutt Heads.
There were talks among the Mutt Heads some time earlier on this subject.
The role of Madurai Aadheenam, it was also conveyed , is also likely o be questioned, his/Mutt’s transactions probed and the earlier cases against Arunagiri may be reopened.(the cases were- possession of Firearms and attempting to cause injury,case for inciting religious passions,causing Law and Order problem by his speeches on Tamils in Sri Lanka-Arunagiri had all these cases closed when the DMK was in power-he was and is very close to Karunanidhi)
The removal of Nithyananda is to be seen in this back ground.
Nithyananda gave a Press Interview to-day(20 October 20120) that he planned to resign in a couple of days and the Madurai Aadheenam was also a party to the decision.
He also stated that no harm will come to the Madurai Aadheenam either by him or his Disciples.
Nithyananda Crowned.
‘திருவண்ணாமலை: “”மதுரை ஆதீனத்துக்கு, என்னாலோ, என் சீடர்களாலோ எந்தவித பாதிப்பும் ஏற்படாது,” என, நித்யானந்தா கூறினார்.
இளைய ஆதீனம் பதவியில் இருந்து நித்யானந்தாவை நீக்கி, நேற்றிரவு மதுரை ஆதீனம் அருணகிரிநாதர் அதிரடியாக உத்தரவிட்டார். இந்நிலையில், திருவண்ணாமலை கிரிவலப்பாதையில் உள்ள நித்யானந்தா ஆஸ்ரமத்தில், நித்யானந்தா, தனது சீடர்களுடன், நவராத்திரி பண்டிகை கொண்டாடிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்,
பின்னர், நித்யானந்தா, செய்தியாளர்களிடம் கூறியதாவது:
நானும், சன்னிதானமும் (மதுரை ஆதீனம் அருணகிரிநாதர்), இன்றோ (நேற்று) அல்லது நாளையோ (இன்று) கூட்டாக இணைந்து, என்னுடைய இளைய ஆதீன பதவியை ராஜினாமா செய்ய திட்டமிட்டிருந்தோம்.
இந்நிலையில், அவர் என்னை நீக்கிவிட்டார் என்று நீங்கள் கூறிய பிறகுதான் எனக்கு தெரியவருகிறது. ஒரு வேளை, எனக்கு தகவல் அனுப்பி, அது எனக்கு வந்து சேரவில்லை என நினைக்கிறேன்.
இளைய ஆதீன பொறுப்பிலிருந்து என்னை நீக்கியதில், எனக்கு எந்தவித மன வருத்தமும் இல்லை, எந்தவிதமான பாதிப்பும் இல்லை. மதுரை ஆதீனத்திலிருந்து, என்னுடைய சீடர்கள் வெளியேற்றப்படவில்லை, அவர்களாகவே வெளியேறி வந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்.
சன்னிதானம், மதுரை ஆதீனத்துக்கு சொந்தக்காரர், நான் நித்யானந்த பீடத்திற்கு சொந்தக்காரர். என்னாலோ, என் சீடர்களாலோ, அவருக்கு எவ்விதி பாதிப்பும் ஏற்படாது.’
