Indian Intel Agency Reveal Data to ISI On Phone

Intelligence Agencies capacity to maintain secrecy stands exposed as report cam in disclosing that an NSG Officer disclosed the security details to some one on Telephone on the asking of the SOC (scene of crime ) of Hyderabad  terrorist blast details.

Hyderabad , India Bomb blast

Hyderabad , India Bomb blast

The man who asked for this is an ISI Agent of Pakistan!

There was another report that the Collector also disclosed details on about the scene of crime on the telephone to another Telephone call.

It is a waste of money to invest in Technology on Intelligence gathering if the people who man it remain stupid or traitors or both.

Many may not believe it that the issue of security in sensitive deference and research establishments in India is a myth.

I had been working on Projects and had to meet with the top officials of the Defense and Airport Security establishments on various occasions.

Once I had been toLRDE and ADE(Electronics and Radar Development Establishment;Aeronautical Developement Establishment,  Bangalore).

The security in these establishments are very strict, on paper.

You were supposed to identify yourself at the Security at the gate,, then they check with the person whom you are supposed to meet up with and they issue a with a pass, which is be signed by the person whom you want to see.

This has to be surrendered at the security while on your return.

I had visited both these establishments many a times without any thing and walked away scot-free.

The curious fact is that I knew of none in the organisations!

The same thing happened in IAAI , Chennai Airport and at Naval Air Force Station near Mandapam, Tamil Nadu, th last one being classified as a very sensitive installation dedicated to monitoring of the Coastal areas in the South and a listening post of Intentional Communications!

In the present case  a mere telephone call had done the trick!

As a test case you try calling any of these sensitive departments, give yourself a fancy Military  Title and you get the information.

An incident was narrated by an ex defence officer in TimesNow channel while breaking the story as mentioned below.

When Lal Bahadur Shastri died in Tashkent, Kumaramangalam , the then Chief of Staff of the Indian Army called indian Army headquarters on an open line and said

‘I am Kumaramangalam’

The Duty officer replied’

‘If you are Kumaramangalam , then I am The Queen of England’ and cut the Phone!

That was security with out sophisticated devices.

The joke is the Government is ordering an enquiry.

What is there to inquire into?

Just get the chaps and place them in the slammer.

Worse is that the memo containing this lapse is in the possession of TimesNow News Channel!

A telephone call originating from Pakistan to an officer of the elite National Security Guards (NSG) seeking information about Hyderabad blasts has led security agencies to make a fresh push for blocking of Internet telephony.

The call to the Major-rank NSG officer, who is on deputation from Army, was termed as “not alarming” but the incident has raised questions about adherence of ‘Do’s and Dont’s’ being issued from time to time by central security agencies.

The NSG has instituted an inquiry to ascertain the cause of lapse in the incident wherein a suspected ISI agent called the EPBX of the NSG office here and asked for the Major, who reportedly talked about the movement of the ‘Black Cats’ to the site of the twin blasts thinking it was a senior officer at the other end as conveyed to him.

Pakistan Knew where Osama was, Confirms Wikileaks Stratfor.

Pervez Musharaff knew where Osama Bin Laden was hiding in Pakistan sp also a host of others in the Military establishment and the ISI.

Wiki Leaks had confirmed this earlier( read my earlier Blogs)

Now this information is authenticated by Stratfor as well.

Well, all of know what Pakistan is.

We can do nothing but to grin and bear it.

Emails from the security think tank Stratfor, released by WikiLeaks on Monday, suggest that up to 12 Pakistani intelligence and army officials were aware of Bin Laden’s presence in the Pakistani city.

The emails released do not identify the agents, but show that were mid- to senior level officials in the Pakistani military and intelligence service ISI.

From the Stratfor emails:

On 5/13/2011 2:27 PM, burton@stratfor.com wrote:

Names unk to me and not provided.

Specific ranks unk to me and not provided.

But, I get a very clear sense we (US intel) know names and
ranks.

Osama Bin Laden was killed on May 1, 2011, in a compound in the Pakistani garrison city of Abbottabad. Pakistan denies that the country’s officials and military were aware of the Al Qaeda leader’s whereabouts, according to the BBC.

“There has been intense suspicion over how much Pakistani authorities knew of Osama bin Laden’s whereabouts but never any definitive proof – or at least none that has been made public,” Gordon Corera, security correspondent for BBC, explains. “There’s no smoking gun, as one Western intelligence official told me.”

Commenting on the WikiLeaks release, spokesman for the Pakistan army Athar Abbas told news channel Al-Arabiya that the allegations were untrue. “They are nonsense and not credible,” he reportedly said.

According to the Christian Science Monitor, it is difficult to determine the trustworthiness of the information in the email. “With some observers speculating that, because Stratfor itself did not publish the data, they may have not deemed the intelligence report authentic,” the Monitor writes.

Pakistan Admits Haqqani Links, refuses US Advice.

The Pakistani Establishment, through , Major General Athar Abbas, a spokesman for the Directorate of Inter-Services Intelligence, acknowledged the service had contacts with the Haqqanis.

In the same breath he had stated that the Government has to maintain Links with Terrorist Groups ‘for some positive out come’!

Astonishing!

By the same logic does will Pakistan admit that it had links with Osama,Taliban?

Will it go the extra mile to state that to contain Terrorism, the Government has o help the Terrorists occasionally?

AdmiraMike Mullen,Joint Chief Of Staff, has castigated Pakistan  thus.

Admiral Mullen accused Pakistan of “exporting” violent extremism to Afghanistan by allowing militants to act as an “arm” of the intelligence service.

“In choosing to use violent extremism as an instrument of policy, the government of Pakistan – and most especially the Pakistani Army and ISI – jeopardises not only the prospect of our strategic partnership, but also Pakistan’s opportunity to be a respected nation with legitimate regional influence,” he told US senators. “By exporting violence, they have eroded their internal security and their position in the region.”.

In reply Pakistan threatened US that

“You will lose an ally,” Khar told Geo TV.

“You cannot afford to alienate Pakistan, you cannot afford to alienate the Pakistani people. If you are choosing to do so and if they are choosing to do so it will be at their own cost,” Khar added, according to Reuters. “Anything which is said about an ally, about a partner publicly to recriminate it, to humiliate it is not acceptable.”

In this tit for tat, Pakistan has failed to address the Real problem of Pakistan,

That this Policy is hurting Pakistan in that it faces Terrorist Attacksin Pakistan.

Economic survival of Pakistan depends on External Assistance.

Pakistan, Pause ,before shooting off.

Better to be Wise than foolhardy.

Pakistan allows Downed US ‘Stealth’ Copter used in Osama Attack.

How naive US can be to believe that Pakistan shall keep US secrets, especially when they know pakistan leaked information whenever it tried to hunt Osama bin Laden!

Pakistan seems to be eager to please China  after it stationed Commandos in Pakistan border after terrorist attack in China.

(Reuters) – Pakistan gave China access to the previously unknown U.S. “stealth” helicopter that crashed during the commando raid that killed Osama bin Laden in May despite explicit requests from the CIA not to, the Financial Times reported on Sunday.

The disclosure, if confirmed, is likely to further shake the U.S.-Pakistanrelationship, which has been improving slightly after hitting its lowest point in decades following the killing of bin Laden.

US maligning Pakistan-Pakistan Media. Is this the People’s View?

I have come across a piece worth quoting and replying here as they have not provided space for comments.

The Pakistan Army has initiated an enquiry against a Major alleged to be involved in hiding Osama bin laden.

ISI Chief Pasha had rushed to US to clear his name.

The place where Osama hid was near a Pakistan Garrison and an Army Major was his neighbor.

Earlier information provided to Pakistan  had ,as later events would show , helped the targets  escape and now since the news of Abbotabad operation was kept secret, it was successful.

If  people  in Pakistan want to believe that Pakistan had nothing to do with Osama, despite evidence it is the height of delusion.

Again why should a foreign Power pop up a State, article states that Pakistan as a State has been let down by US.

It is said that Pakistan lost its soldiers fighting terrorism,no body disputes that.

The issue is that you can not hound with the Fox and run with the hare, making poor soldiers as sitting ducks.

Who was involved in Afganistan?

Who gave shelter Mulla Omar as well?

Who is sheltering Dawood Ibrahim?

If this piece reflects the real Pakistani views, even God can not save Pakistan from disintegrating.

Story:

‘One is amazed what America and its media want to achieve by putting allegations on Pakistan for leaking sensitive information with terrorists which help them flee before the operation. There seems only one reason behind this whole conspiracy that Americas had let down Pakistan as state and its armed forces by undergoing operation in Abbottabad. America says it was successful operation and America says Osama has been killed and again America says his dead body was thrown into the sea. We the Pakistanis and the other world are left with no option to believe what America is saying. …

Matter of the fact is that America was engaged with the Taliban in talks since many months. The talks were under process through Karzai govt. Germany and Turkey was also playing role in this regard. America was engaged with some of the Taliban’s local factions as well which could provide America an honorable way to pull out its forces from Afghanistan. Abbottabad’s 2nd May operation however depicts America was not only banking on the talks to get an opportunity they designed such an operation which portrayed America and its commandoes real heroes of the world as they got hold of the Osma bin laden which means American masses are now safe.
