Machu Picchu, Peru. Located on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley, Machu Picchu was the ‘Lost City of the Incas’, inhabited in the 15th and 16th century. Archaeologists believe that the mountain estate was built for the Inca emperor, Pachacuti, but was abandoned because of the Spanish Conquest. The inhabitants were also believed to have been wiped out by smallpox introduced by Spanish conquistadors. The actual ruins were discovered centuries later, in 1911, by American historian, Hiram Bingham.

Petra, Jordan. Petra is a historical marvel dating back to the 6th century BC. It was the capital city of the Nabataeans, center of trade routes and used by the civilization to control the water supply in the desert city, and was built on the slope of Mount Hor. It was first discovered in 1812 by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. Oh, and you might recognize it from a little movie called Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Pompeii, Italy. Pompeii and its inhabitants were the unfortunate victims of the catastrophic volcanic eruption in 79 AD. Spanning two days, Mount Vesuvius’ eruption completely buried the Roman city under ash and pumice. It remained lost for over 1700 years until a farmer stumbled upon the ruins in 1749.

Memphis, Egypt. Memphis – a city located south of Cairo – was founded around 3000 BC by the pharaoh Menes. It used to be the ancient capital of Lower Egypt and thrived as a cultural, commercial, religious and trading hub. The city was abandoned as the Roman Empire came into prominence, and consequently, the site fell into disrepair.

Troy, Turkey. Home of the legendary decade-long Trojan War described in Homer’s Illiad and Odyssey – involving a wooden horse, a beautiful queen Helen, a heroic Agamemnon and Achilles’ heel – Troy was the center of all ancient civilizations. Though the authenticity of the Trojan War legend is sketchy, the city of Troy was inhabited from the third millennium BC to the 4th century AD. It was rebuilt over 10 times, occupied by different civilizations (including the Hittite), appears as Ilium after Roman rule, and eventually declined during the Byzantine era. The ruins were found in 1822 and excavated from 1870-1890.

Babylon, Iraq, Located south of Baghdad, and home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World – the Hanging Gardens of Babylon – Babylon was one of Mesopatomia’s first cities. The city housed an advanced civilization with well-developed literature, medicine, religion and legal system dating back to the third millennium BC. The term “eye for an eye” also stems from this ancient city, uttered by King Hammurabi who created the Babylonian empire. The city eventually collapsed in the 7th century AD, after centuries of foreign domination.

Founded by King Darius, Persepolis was one of the four capitals of the Persian Empire. Building began around 518 BC and the city reflected the wealth and grandeur of the Archaemid Dynasty, before it was burnt to the ground in 330 BC by Alexander the Great.

Islam And Women Sharia Quotes

The place of women in Islam is very disturbing.

Is this a revealed Religion?

‘Women’s lack of freedom and outright abuse is a fundamental feature of Sharia, which is the system of law used by many Islamic governments. Shaykh Ghawhi, a well-known and well-respected (in Islamic universities and throughout the Islamic world) teacher of Islamic studies and Islamic law, says according to Sharia:

1. A woman must only leave her house if she has a real need to do so.
2. Her husband or guardian must authorize her leaving the house.
3. When she is out, she must be completely covered, including her face.
4. When she is out, she must not look left or right but keep her head bowed down as she walks.
5. She must not wear perfume in public.
6. She must never shake a man’s hand.
7. Even if she is visiting a female friend and is inside her friend’s house, she must not uncover herself in case a man is hiding somewhere in the house.”

Muslim women have no choice but to abide by Sharia, since rejecting it is grounds for the charge of apostasy, punishable by death. Having been exposed to Sharia for centuries, Muslim women have learned convoluted coping mechanisms to avoid Sharia’s wrath. Engaging in their own form of Stockholm Syndrome, most Muslim women publicly defend the very laws that enslave them. Even Obama’s advisor on Islamic affairs, Dalia Mujahed, stated that Sharia is “misunderstood.” Muslim women end up as the guardians of their own jails. It is women who often report younger girls who refuse to wear the head cover, and some wives cover up for the honor killing of a daughter by their husband or son. Many have accepted their inferior status and wear it as a badge of honor….

[1] There is no age limit for marriage of girls under Sharia. A man can pay a dowry and sign a marriage contract with parents of a toddler girl and consummate the marriage at age 9. Recent cases in Yemen and Saudi Arabia exposed this tragedy when 8-year-old girls filed for divorce from their over 50-year-old husbands. Not one Muslim authority challenged the Saudi marriage high official, Dr. Ahmad Al Mubi, who stated in 2008, in an interview that aired on LBC TV: “There is no minimal age for entering marriage. The Prophet Muhammad is the model we follow.”

[2] Islamic law states: “a Muslim will not be punished for killing an adulterer.” Islam, therefore, encourages honor killing of women. Since men have more sexual rights than women in Islam, it becomes harder to catch a man committing adultery. Thus women become more susceptible to becoming the victims of the above law, which allows vigilante street justice against adulterous women. I have never heard a Friday sermon stating that honor killing is forbidden in no uncertain terms.

[3] A rebellious wife is one who “answers her husband coldly” or refuses to go to bed with him. Rebelliousness on the part of the wife nullifies the husband’s obligation to support her and gives him permission to beat her (Shafi Law m10 and m11 p. 541-2). The Prophet said: “A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife”.–Sunaan Abu Dawud, 11.2142

[4] Divorce is only in the hands of the husband and is as easy as verbally saying “I divorce you.” Thus the wife is divorced whether the husband had the intention to do it or not. Law n3.2 p 559.

[5] There is no community property between husband and wife in Islam. A Muslim wife would be lucky to inherit 20% from her husband. A man’s property after his death is not given to his wife, but is divided among many members of the family such as his parents, other wives; sons take double what daughters get.

6] A man has the right to have up to 4 wives. Polygamy is not just a right, but loyalty to one wife is discouraged. Mohammed said: “The best Muslims had the largest number of wives,” Bukhari 7.62.7. A Muslim man does not vow loyalty to his bride in the marriage ceremony and the bride must not expect it. In the Muslim marriage contract itself, the husband is asked to give name and address of wife number 1, 2 and 3 if any. (See a copy of the Muslim marriage contract in my book, chapter 2 of Cruel and Usual Punishment.)

[7] Mutaa or pleasure marriage gives the right to a man to marry a woman for a fixed amount of time, from a few hours to several years. That takes away any holiness in the concept of marriage. The only condition is that the man must pay the woman money (dowry) in exchange for sexual rights over her body. This is simply legalized prostitution, exploiting needy and poor women. This form of marriage is not registered or regulated by the State.

Urfi marriage is another form of marriage that is usually kept as a secret. Sharia has not forgotten the traveling man and gave him “Misyar” marriage allowing him “wives” in different cities. Sharia satisfies men’s urges at the expense of women’s dignity and humanity with total disregard to limitations and wholesome standards for men to live by for the benefit of a healthy family life.

[8] The Qur’an often uses the word “nikah,” which literally means sexual intercourse, to mean marriage. The dowry is called “ugur” in the Qur’an, meaning wage. It is payment for owning a woman’s private parts to be used by the husband as he wishes. “The dowry is given in exchange for the woman’s sexual organs.” (Ibn Kathir)

Locusts Invade Detroit Israel

Detroit, US was invaded By Locusts on 4 March 2013 ,according to Weekly World News.

Invasion by pests is not new.

Russia , China have been worst affected by this, along with Israel in the past.

A swarm of locusts covered Detroit yesterday, raising fears that Chicago could be next.

Michigan authorities sent out drones to spray pesticides over the city to prevent damage by the swarm, which numbers about 50,000 locusts, said a spokeswoman for the City of Detroit.

The locust alert comes on the eve of the bankruptcy of Detroit. “First there was the collapse of the auto industry, then there was the financial collapse and the bankruptcy of the city and now… locusts,” said longtime resident, Jimmy Bellicort.

The Brotherhood’s stated goal is to instill the Qur’an and Sunnah as the “sole reference point for …ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community … and state.” The movement officially opposes violent means to achieve its goals, although it at one time encompassed a paramilitary wing and its members were involved in assassinations of political opponents; notably Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmoud an-Nukrashi Pasha.^[9][10]

The Muslim Brotherhood started as a religious social organization; preaching Islam, teaching the illiterate, setting up hospitals and even launching commercial enterprises. As it continued to rise in influence, starting in 1936, it began to oppose British rule in Egypt.^[11] Many Egyptian nationalists accuse the MB of violent killings during this period.^[12] After the Arab defeat in the First Arab-Israeli war, the Egyptian government dissolved the organisation and arrested its members.^[11] It supported the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, but after an attempted assassination of Egypt’s president it was once again banned and repressed.^[13] The MB has been suppressed in other countries as well, most notably in Syria in 1982 during the Hama massacre.^[14]

The MB is financed by contributions from its members, who are required to allocate a portion of their income to the movement. Some of these contributions are from members who work in Saudi Arabia and other oil-rich countries.^[15](wiki)

Jamaat-e-Islami is said to be the Muslim Brotherhood in the Indian subcontinent and Muslim Brotherhood is called the Jamaat-e-Islami of the Arab world.

Jamaat-e-Islami has independent oganizations in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.’

The texts of the Qur”an and Sunnah order Muslims that there should be no compulsion in religion and that the non-Muslims with revealed books preceding Islam (particularly Jews and Christians) and who live as citizens in the Muslim State should enjoy safety and security. These texts ensure for non-Muslims the freedom of belief and the freedom of opinion. They reject that those people be forced to deal according to the rulings of the Islamic Shari`ah. The are to be left to deal in accordance with the tenets of the laws in which they believe. For example, they marry under these laws and this marriage is recognized by the Islamic state and the Muslim Community. The effects of such marriage become legal as to lineage and inheritance. They are not to lineage and inheritance. They are not to be banned by the forbidden items of food and drink that Muslims observe as long as these items are not forbidden to them. The Islamic texts allow Muslims to deal with those non-Muslims as long as the Muslims observe the Shari`ah in such dealings. The non-Muslims have also the right to own property, real estate, movables and all kinds of assets. They can engage in various professions like medicine, engineering, agriculture, trade, etc. they have the right to assume all offices of state that are not related to enforcing the rulings of the Islamic Shari`ah in which they do not believe. In tact are left, they are left free to take their disputes and litigation to the competent and knowledgeable persons of their own law. A Muslim judge cannot examine or pass verdicts in these cases unless they themselves refer these cases to him. Hence, those believers in religions other than Islam lived in the Islamic Homeland safe and secure in their persons, honor, and property as well as everything they held dear. Except for individual cases, history does not prove any general persecution or comprehensive wronging committed against non-Muslims.

Are Muslims Happy? Where and Why?

Though terrorists seem to spring more from Islam (looks so considering the events), their lot is pitiable, starting from Palestine.

 

Will the zealots of the Community understand this fact into their thick skulls and integrate with the Country in which they Live, no more talk of Muslim Imma and Grand old Islam Empire.

 

If they continue in their present vein, the Community n=is in danger of being totally ostracized.

 

Normal Muslims must ensure that Fanatic following of Religion leads them no where and their Religion may become defunct.

 

More importantly you have to live peacefully to follow any Religion .

 

As to the other communities, people should segregate the fundamentalists and the normal Muslim.
