A woman on a motor scooter had a lucky escape when she was run over by a truck on Friday in western India‘s Maharashtra state. CCTV footage shows the truck dragging her scooter several metres after running it over on an arterial road in the state’s Nagpur city. The woman escaped apparently unhurt, getting up from under the truck’s wheels and running after the vehicle dragging her scooter along the road.

‘A teenager in south Florida survived being shot in the head with a fishing spear.
Yasser Lopez, 16, was fishing with a friend when the weapon went off as the pair were loading equipment onto their boat.
The spear entered just above his right eye and penetrated through his brain to the back of his skull.
The teenager was airlifted to a Miami-area hospital where doctors spent three-hours removing the spear with the aid of a high-speed drill
The medical team revealed that Lopez had been awake and interacting with the emergency team when he arrived at the hospital, which indicated to the doctors that he could survive the ordeal as they planned the surgery.
Miraculously, no vital brain structures were damaged by the harpoon.
Following surgery he could communicate in short sentences with hospital staff but he had no recollection of the accident.
Horrified internet viewers in New Zealand have seen live pictures of a helicopter becoming entangled in cables and crashing to the ground.
It was helping install a giant Christmas tree on Auckland’s waterfront when its blades appeared to catch cables attached to scaffolding causing it to break up about 25ft above ground.
The dramatic footage was filmed by TV New Zealand and was being broadcast live on their website.
The B2 Squirrel helicopter’s tail is seen breaking up, causing the rest of the aircraft to spin round and crash.
The pilot was seen being thrown around the cabin but incredibly he survived and was seen walking away from the scene with the help of two workmen involved in the project.
