Girl Kicked Out By Ex Boy Friend Google Street View.Privacy?

Google Street View has captured a Girl being kicked out of her ex Boy friend’s House.

Wonderful Technology!

The issue of kicking out a woman is deplorable.

My point is that are we ever alone’

See some of the Google Street View Photos below.

Would we be alone at least in the Toilet?

I doubt.

Girl Being kicked out of Ex. Boy friend’s House

A bad break-up can be tough enough, but what if it was captured by Google Street View cameras and immortalized on the web?

That’s the dilemma of one woman, who – after being dumped by her boyfriend several years ago – can be seen beside her car with a pile of her belongings, according to several internet postings.

The image was posted on Reddit and the photo-sharing site Imgur with the caption: ‘Google Streetview captures the glorious moment when my buddy kicks his now ex-gf out of his house.’

In it, the downtrodden female clutches a Victoria’s Secret bag as she stands next to curbside bags and boxes. Among the items is a beach chair and what appears to be a giant stuffed dog.

The identity of the woman is not known, but the photo was snapped somewhere in Southern California, according to the poster, who declined to provide additional details to ‘protect the identities and privacy of my friend and his ex.’

Weird: This baffling snap captured by a Street View camera shows apparently naked man climbing into or out of the trunk of a Mercedes in Mannheim, south-west Germany, while a dog sprawls on the driveway

Facebook On Rape Women Obscene

The posts in Facebook are bordering on the Obscene, nay they are obscene and Revolting.

Recent jokes on Women are nauseating.

Facebook’s reply and justification is appalling.

Is this Free Speech?

Story:

All of these are examples, from Facebook, of speech and images encouraging and/or making light of violence against women. Both the images and the language are extremely graphic and disturbing. We believe it’s important to make them available in order to illustrate the extent and impact of Facebook’s inaction on gender-based hate speech, but please choose to view them or not at your own discretion.

Many of these images passed Facebook moderation — that is, they were reported as violating Facebook standards, and Facebook declined to take them down. Some of them came down later when media stories highlighted specific pages. Some of them are still live on Facebook.

A note on redactions: we’ve redacted parts of images to protect the identities of women whose images have been used against their will. None of these images are/were redacted on Facebook.

UPDATE: Facebook is claiming that because they took down all the images in our original sample set, there is no more problem. Until Facebook recognizes that the problem is their POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, not any individual pages, we will keep posting fresh examples that are still live each day. Again, many of these have already been reported and allowed by Facebook moderation. They may come down now when we SHAME Facebook with them, but that doesn’t solve the problem. ONLY NEW FACEBOOK POLICIES AND PROCEDURES DESIGNED TO BAN GENDER-BASED HATE SPEECH will solve this problem.

In a blog post, Facebook said its “systems to identify and remove hate speech have failed to work as effectively as we would like, particularly around issues of gender-based hate.” The company said it would review how it dealt with such content, update training for its employees, increase accountability — including requiring that users use their real identities when creating content — and establish more direct lines of communication with women’s groups and other entities.

Teens Technology Social Media, A Study

People share information on The Social Media.

Teens also do.

Despite warnings about the fact that the information shared in the Social Media is likely to be misused, they still do.

So is chatting online.

The probable reason is the basic Gregarious instinct of man, the urge to be with people and share.

Why on the Social Media  and not in person?

How Teens use Social Media. PEW study.

How Teens use Social Media.

When you share information with a person, you are physically aware of his presence and ou are reticent about sharing your information.

This becomes difficult when the person whom you are sharing with happens to be  your parents , relatives and even friends.

You are not sure how the divulging of the information will affect you.

Now this block exists even among friends!

Now I find that there few lasting friendships, but only ‘hi how are you”(there are exceptions).

So you have  to share, but safely.

In a Social media, you do not physically see the person, you feel secure(in fact you are not, this is more dangerous as you do not know the person)

I checked with adults who engage themselves in chatting with unknown people of the opposite Sex,same-sex.

They are aware that the information will be misused.

The reason they informed me is that they can exchange lewd comments and things which they can not express in the Society openly, put it bluntly they can indulge in Sexual perversions, expressions , not approved by the Society.

There is a detailed Study by PEW Research center, on the behavior of Teens, Social media and Technology.

Excerpts.

Teens Behavior, Social Media A Study

Teens Behavior, Social Media

Teens are sharing more information about themselves on social media sites than they have in the past, but they are also taking a variety of technical and non-technical steps to manage the privacy of that information. Despite taking these privacy-protective actions, teen social media users do not express a high level of concern about third-parties (such as businesses or advertisers) accessing their data; just 9% say they are “very” concerned.>>

  • Teens are sharing more information about themselves on social media sites than they did in the past. For the five different types of personal information that we measured in both 2006 and 2012, each is significantly more likely to be shared by teen social media users in our most recent survey.
  • Teen Twitter use has grown significantly: 24% of online teens use Twitter, up from 16% in 2011.
  • The typical (median) teen Facebook user has 300 friends, while the typical teen Twitter user has 79 followers.
  • Focus group discussions with teens show that they have waning enthusiasm for Facebook, disliking the increasing adult presence, people sharing excessively, and stressful “drama,” but they keep using it because participation is an important part of overall teenage socializing.
  • 60% of teen Facebook users keep their profiles private, and most report high levels of confidence in their ability to manage their settings.
  • Teens take other steps to shape their reputation, manage their networks, and mask information they don’t want others to know; 74% of teen social media users have deleted people from their network or friends list.
  • Teen social media users do not express a high level of concern about third-party access to their data; just 9% say they are “very” concerned.
  • On Facebook, increasing network size goes hand in hand with network variety, information sharing, and personal information management.
  • In broad measures of online experience, teens are considerably more likely to report positive experiences than negative ones. For instance, 52% of online teens say they have had an experience online that made them feel good about themselves.

Suicide Advertisement By Hyundai Video

Hyundai released a TV advertisement showing a man attempting to commit Suicide.

On receiving protests the advertisement was withdrawn.

The ill-conceived punch-line was that the SUV, an iX35, runs on hydrogen and, therefore, emits only water vapor, so the man can’t kill himself.

The ad was created by Hyundai’s European advertising agency Innocean Europe, according to Hyundai.

“Hyundai Motor deeply and sincerely apologizes for the offensive viral ad,” Hyundai said in a statement. “The ad was created by an affiliate advertising agency, Innocean Europe, without Hyundai’s request or approval. It runs counter to our values as a company and as members of the community. We are very sorry for any offense or distress the video caused. More to the point, Hyundai apologizes to those who have been personally impacted by tragedy.”

It was not immediately clear where the ad had originally appeared. “To the best of my knowledge it was never on any Hyundai Web site or Hyundai YouTube outlet,” Hyundai Motor America spokesman Chris Hosford said in an email.

Family Tree

It would be interesting to know of our ancestors.

We know more of world History than our own Family history.

IndiaHindus are expected to remember at least the names of people of Even generations and  do a Ritual (Tharpana, offering Water and sesame seeds at least once a month to three generations, both paternal and maternal)

Those among Brahmins, who do the ‘Abhivaadanam’( of offering respects to elders) would know the progenitor of their Clan, normally three in number.

They are Rishis, seers, who are the foremost of their Clan.

But now people can not even remember or know their Great-grand father’s Name.In

In the West Data Bank is available, to know one’s family History.

I am providing Links.

The Dalton Data Bank is brought to you by the Dalton Genealogical Society (DGS) and volunteers who have spent countless hours extracting Dalton data from a variety of sources.  The Bank includes data about Daltons who were in Argentina, Australia, Canada, England, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, the United States, Wales, the West Indies, and Zimbabwe — Truly an “A to Z” Dalton reference site!

The Bank opened on September 1, 2001 with about 10,000 bits of Dalton data. Today, we host more than 500 pages which contain in excess of 430,000 entries. They include Dalton namesakes, their wives, children, in-laws, sponsors, witnesses and female Daltons. As well, variants of  the name Dalton (i.e., Daulton, Dolton, D’Alton) are also partially indexed.

Please contact the Webmaster if you have questions or if you wish to submit additional data. As with all data, it is the onus of the user to verify it.
