France Forces Mexico Free Kidnapper, Power Rules

In crime, France, International relations on January 26, 2013 at 09:13

A French woman , who along with her boy friend , who ran a kidnapping ring, Zodiac killed and sentenced for  60 years in prison was freed by Mexico when the Mexican Supreme Court ruled that the prosecution case was weak!

Remember that  Mexico was threatened by The past President of France, Sarkozy on this issue.

The acquittal was celebrated in France and received with shock in Mexico, naturally.

Diplomatic pressures cost Justice.

It is always a different set of rules for those who are white skinned.

One recalls  the arrest of Julius Assange, Wiki Leaks , on, what every one knows, to be trumped-up charge of molesting a woman!

Or the refusal of Denmark to extradite  Kim  Davy who is the main accused in the Purulia Arms drop case.

Or the deal of the  IMF President  of French origin, Strauss Kahn, who was released from the US, after concerted diplomatic pressure and slandering the victim.

Or the refusal of the US to hand David Headley who was involved the bombing case in India and The USs refusal to extradite him to India.

Power and Money, these run the World!

Story:

The release of French accused kidnapper Florence Cassez has dealt a hurtful blow to many Mexicans, who are also outraged by what they see as impunity in their criminal justice system…..

Writing for the financial daily El Economista, José Fonseca said a majority of people were “angry” with the court’s decision, but that it was now a “done deal”. The reporter suggested that the affair should spur President Enrique Pena Nieto and state officials to implement judicial reforms.

A judge sentenced Cassez in 2008 following a closed-door trial with no jury, typical of most cases in Mexico.

Justice Olga Sanchez, who argued that testimony against Cassez should be discarded, said afterward that Mexicans should feel “proud” because due process had been respected.

The Mexican judges did not say whether or not the Frenchwoman was innocent, only that key evidence against her should be thrown out….

Purulia Arms Drop Case.

Another key suspect Kim Davy, aka  Niels Christian Nielsen, a Danish  citizen is supposed to be the master mind.

Though apprehended, he escaped from India.

Now it appears that Kim Davy, who is in Denmark, is likely to be extradited to India.

Peter Bleach poses these points.

He has informed MI 5 which stated that it had informed India and he has copies of statements made to MI5.

David Shealor was the case officer.

Another MI 5 officer Encock perjured in Indian Court to have Bleach incarcerated.

Bleach had given 30 page statement detailing the entire operation to Dutt .

Dutt later denied having received any statement.

Pereira,Nair and Mukkophadhyaya were the other officers involved.

Nair went to Latvia to threaten the Latvian crew against giving  media interviews.

IMF President Rape case.

Now the case of the prosecution seems to be collapsing according to the New York Timeswith doubts being expressed over the credibility of the maid who leveled charges against him.

‘Although forensic tests found unambiguous evidence of a sexual encounter between Mr. Strauss-Kahn, a French politician, and the woman, prosecutors now do not believe much of what the accuser has told them about the circumstances or about herself….

Among the discoveries, one of the officials said, are issues involving the asylum application of the 32-year-old housekeeper, who is Guinean, and possible links to people involved incriminal activities, including drug dealing and money laundering…’
