STAR Vijay Channel is a good channel and telecasts good clean entertainment and most of the programmes being aired by other TV channels in Tamil are a poor imitation of the STAR Vijay’s Shows.
However the serial Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, which I was asked to see, is a programme in very bad taste.
The serial revolves around a Principal whose life Mission seems to ensure that a Student is sent out of the College.
Calf Love is shown at its worst with double entendre, in most times a single meaning- vulgar.
Add to this the way the students(!) comment on teachers, thinking that it is a joke…..nauseating.
Producers of the show might resort to the oft-repeated statement of film makers, especially of the Tamil Film industry that they are portraying Life!
What these perverts fail to understand is that they, with their imagination produce films on what they imagine to be possible but need not be ‘probable’.
The Society, including Students, make the ”possible’, ‘probable and certain’.
Media has an obligation to society, more than a few Silvers.
