Facebook tracks cookies after logout!

That Facebook is not safe for privacy is known to us for  sometime now .

Earlier, it was the availability of your details with your photos, without you selecting the option.

Now, ‘According to Australian technologist Nik Cubrilovic: ‘Logging out of Facebook is not enough.’ He added, Even after you are logged out, Facebook is able to track your browser’s page every time you visit a website. He wrote in his blog ’With my browser logged out of Facebook, whenever I visit any page with a Facebook like button, or share button, or any other widget, the information, including my account ID, is still being sent to Facebook.‘

After explaining the cookies behavior he also suggested a way to fix the tracking problem: ‘The only solution to Facebook not knowing who you are is to delete all Facebook cookies.”

BBC Drops BC and AD.Common Sense.

It is more than correct on the part of BBC to have dropped anachronistic and nonsensical BC and AD.

It looks stupid to read an event in History which has taken place before formation of the Calendar,  by marking as BC .

How does one refer to some one refer to something that has taken place before an event by referring to the latter event?

It is like saying A comes before B.

It takes moral courage on the part of BBC to do what is has done now.

This is more logical.

More logical would be to be  to take the earliest proven event and make it as beginning of the Calendar and keep updating.

May be cumbersome, but logical.

Do not bother about religious zealots.

Let them live in the bygone era.

The BBC’s religious and ethics department says the changes are necessary to avoid offending non-Christians. …

It states: ‘As the BBC is committed to impartiality it is appropriate that we use terms that do not offend or alienate non-Christians.

In line with modern practice, BCE/CE (Before Common Era/Common Era) are used as a religiously neutral alternative to BC/AD.’

Pakistan Admits Haqqani Links,refuses US Advice.

The Pakistani Establishment, through , Major General Athar Abbas, a spokesman for the Directorate of Inter-Services Intelligence, acknowledged the service had contacts with the Haqqanis.

In the same breath he had stated that the Government has to maintain Links with Terrorist Groups ‘for some positive out come’!

Astonishing!

By the same logic does will Pakistan admit that it had links with Osama,Taliban?

Will it go the extra mile to state that to contain Terrorism, the Government has o help the Terrorists occasionally?

AdmiraMike Mullen,Joint Chief Of Staff, has castigated Pakistan  thus.

‘

Admiral Mullen accused Pakistan of “exporting” violent extremism to Afghanistan by allowing militants to act as an “arm” of the intelligence service.

“In choosing to use violent extremism as an instrument of policy, the government of Pakistan – and most especially the Pakistani Army and ISI – jeopardises not only the prospect of our strategic partnership, but also Pakistan’s opportunity to be a respected nation with legitimate regional influence,” he told US senators. “By exporting violence, they have eroded their internal security and their position in the region.”.

In reply Pakistan threatened US that 

“You will lose an ally,” Khar told Geo TV.

“You cannot afford to alienate Pakistan, you cannot afford to alienate the Pakistani people. If you are choosing to do so and if they are choosing to do so it will be at their own cost,” Khar added, according to Reuters. “Anything which is said about an ally, about a partner publicly to recriminate it, to humiliate it is not acceptable.”

In this tit for tat, Pakistan has failed to address the Real problem of Pakistan,

That this Policy is hurting Pakistan in that it faces Terrorist Attacksin Pakistan.

Economic survival of Pakistan depends on External Assistance.
